What You’ll Be Doing:
Ensuring the health, safety, and emotional wellbeing of children and young people.
Providing guidance and support to help them build confidence and life skills.
Developing individual care and education plans in collaboration with families and professionals.
Supporting young people in expressing their emotions and making positive choices.
Promoting inclusion, ensuring they feel valued in their communities.
Encouraging a nurturing and therapeutic environment through Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy (PACE).
What We’re Looking For:
A compassionate, patient, and resilient nature.
Experience in care or education (desirable but not essential).
A willingness to undertake necessary qualifications (HNC Social Care & SVQ Level 3).
An understanding of attachment theory and trauma-informed practice (or a keen interest in learning).
Strong communication, planning, and IT skills.
A full driving licence (desirable).
