JOB SUMMARY As the Assistant Head of Food and Beverage Operations, you will provide a presence to ensure that the Operations Teams are supported for resources, guidance and any logistical situations as well as being a lead within service at all times. You will assumes the responsibilities and duties of the Head of Food and Beverage Operations when they are absent. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide and lead a guest focus mentality with the teams - utilising training, upselling and other initiatives to ensure guest experience and journey is exceeding expectations. Ensure a Guest Service focus is applied to all teams - creating a wrap around 'Guestcentric' approach. To make sure that all the forecasted payroll and costs are achieved across all Food and Beverage Outlets. Collate relevant costings needed for Forecasting and Planning on Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Basis. Ensure rostering is completed across the Food and Beverage Teams within parameters of Payroll Forecast and Budget using relevant resources within teams. Ensure resource levels of Food and Beverage team members is completed aligning with company values. Working/Relationships and Communication To ensure there is a harmonious atmosphere across the Food and Beverage Outlets. Promote cross departmental development to maximise learning opportunities for team members. To provide a wrap around welfare focussed approach to the Food and Beverage Team utilising direct reports as well as. Promote themselves out with the Food and Beverage Team across the resort. Represent Food and Beverage and Rudding Park as a whole internally and externally to the greatest professional level. Organise and monitor Performance Reviews (PDA's) within the whole team - using the reviews as guidance for team pathway and progression Productivity Ensure the culture of contracted working hours is maintained throughout Food and Beverage To ensure that all team members have a Performance Development Plan for progression within their role. GENERAL Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to work colleagues, guest and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures. Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and customer care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times.
