Working to drive manufacturing improvements and standards – recording and documenting production based KPI’s
Delivering soft HR functions such as training, appraisals and promoting a safety culture
Experience with managing manufacturing processes
Demonstrable understanding of production, quality, delivery, safety, cost management
Drive performance through delivery of a plan – managing set-up and production times per job/ machine/ operator
Operating against metrics – using OTD, RFT, Morale, Safety, Cost management data to deliver a ‘what does good look like’ ethos
Accountability for real-time quality
Accountability for managing costs, troubleshoot existing processes and eliminate waste and risk
Day to management of people management - absence and sickness levels, holidays, breaks, labour utilisation
Ownership of training, development and performance management
Carry out toolbox talks specifically impacting production, safety, quality, and service
