DUTIES
Your duties as an Events Manager include:
* Event Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute event plans that align with company objectives and target audiences. This includes brainstorming themes, selecting venues, managing guest lists, and coordinating all logistical details
* Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximising ROI. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and track expenses
* Supplier Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage a network of trusted suppliers, including caterers, venues, AV companies, and marketing agencies
* Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement event marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and website updates
* On-site Management: Oversee all aspects of event execution on the day, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise
* Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing feedback and identifying areas for improvement
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and attendees
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as an Events Manager, ideally with a portfolio showcasing a variety of successful events
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Strong budget management skills and experience negotiating contracts
* Creative flair and a passion for creating memorable experiences
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
