AW Construction are a Folkestone based commercial construction company, undertaking a broad range of construction projects across the Southeast of England and London. Our works are predominantly strip out, refurbishment and fit out in nature. Our clients range from universities, shopping centres, light to medium industrial to housing associations, amongst these are many high street and global brands.Contracts
The successful candidate will be based at our offices in Folkestone and will be required to make frequent site visits across the portfolio of projects assigned to them.
Applicants must have significant experience of working as a contracts manager in the commercial construction sector within the UK and have a firm understanding of current legislation along with health and safety policies within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects are delivered safely; on time; on budget, to a high standard from inception to handover.
* Oversee the co-ordination of operatives, sub-contractors and suppliers in a planned and controlled manner ensuring efficiency and minimising costs.
* Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
* Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to project timelines, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
* Prepare reports on project status, including risks, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good level of Maths, English and IT
