Role Description:
Due to an internal move, we are looking for a Senior Documentation Officer to manage a portfolio of traded product agreements including the German law Rahmenvertrag, ISDA Master Agreement and CSA. We are part of a global team within Global Markets covering a broad scope of agreements for Derivatives, F&O, Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage and Repo.
Responsibilities:
1. This is a client-facing role and the candidate will manage their own portfolio involving the drafting and negotiating of ISDA/CSAs, Local law Agreements including the Rahmenvertrag and related ancillary documents, on behalf of various Bank of America entities.
2. Identification and facilitation of credit, legal, tax and policy issues by coordinating communications among risk officers, collateral management, tax department, counsel (in-house and outside) and client representative (“internal partners”).
3. Liaising with internal partners and marketers/traders to accurately reflect the necessary credit and business terms of the relationship whilst conforming to Bank guidelines and policies.
4. Review of non-standard supporting documentation.
5. Updating of Bank systems including the documentation system of record.
6. Involvement in special/regulatory projects as and when required.

3. Highly self-motivated and ability to prioritise/drive for execution.
4. Ability to exercise judgment within defined parameters.
5. Qualified lawyer or Legal training.
6. German speaker.

1. Familiarity with the German law Master.
2. Strong knowledge of market practices.
