Job Description: Propulsion Systems Engineer
The Propulsion Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and releasing components in support of electrified powertrain integration. There are multiple positions open to support Base Engine and Electromechanical hardware development. This can include components specific to:
1. Lubrication & cooling
2. Sealing systems
3. Cranktrain
4. Sensors
5. Fuel systems
6. Noise absorption of Electric Drive Modules (EDM), Generators, eMotors
7. Structural brackets for electrified components/modules
Location: Must live in Windsor, Ontario. Occasional travel to the US for meetings; this could mean 1 to 2 times per month.
Position Type: Hybrid Position - 80% remote with 20% in person.
Basic Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
* Minimum three years of engineering experience
* Basic understanding of propulsion system calibration and vehicle components
* Basic knowledge of electric motors and gasoline engine operation
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience with basic PC software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
* Knowledge of hardware release process, DFMEAs, DVPs, and root cause analysis methodologies
* Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple complex projects

Pay: $40.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience: DevOps: 1 year (preferred)
