About the Role:
Are you a passionate and dedicated Trainee Teacher currently pursuing your PGCE? Join our dynamic team to gain hands-on experience teaching across all key stages in primary schools. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lesson Coverage: Deliver pre-planned lessons across various primary school year groups (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2).
2. Classroom Management: Create a positive and engaging learning environment, ensuring students are motivated and achieving their best.
3. Support: Assist in preparing lesson plans, resources, and activities as needed.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions in and out of lessons, contributing to the overall development of students.
5. Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and teachers.
6. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities as part of your PGCE journey, including observation and feedback sessions with mentor teachers.
7. Flexibility: Adapt to different school environments, year groups, and teaching styles to gain diverse experience.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in a PGCE or similar teacher training programme.
2. A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their learning.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Ability to manage classrooms effectively, with a focus on positive reinforcement.
5. Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and teaching requirements.
