As we continue to expand our operations, we are excited to expand our team of Development Coaches by recruiting 7 more to support our Care Personal Tutors, learners and teams in the Northeast, Yorkshire and Southeast. In this position, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our learners and enhancing their experience by coaching, mentoring, and guiding them through their qualifications in Health and Social Care across levels 2-5.
As a Development Coach (DC), you will work collaboratively with our operational and delivery experts (Personal Tutors) in Care and deliver an outstanding support service to our learners by effectively guiding them through their learning journey, encouraging progression, leading the delivery of the broader curriculum such as prevent, safeguarding and general welfare and supporting with their e-portfolio management (BUD). You will be an integral part of the learners experience by helping them to achieve their goals on time and to the highest standards.
You will be a key part of the growing Care operational team and drive the success of the sector by helping your assigned PTs with their caseload and working together to provide the most well-rounded support to learners and employers, inspiring success and living by our core values the 5 E's in all that you do.
Key responsibilities for a DC include:
* Providing inspirational support and guidance to learners throughout their learning journey
* Partnering with Personal Tutor to support the delivery of an expectational learner experience
* Collaborating with employers to offer Information, Advice, and Guidance throughout the programme
* Embedding the broader curriculum (e.g., British Values, Safeguarding, and Prevent) into your teaching
* Coordinating the booking of workshop sessions and exams, including functional skills
* Supporting learners returning to the programme after breaks and helping them get back on track
* Responding promptly to queries from learners, employers, and other stakeholders
* Preparing learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and assisting them in getting their portfolio ready for gateway
* Utilising digital technologies to provide valuable feedback in a supportive and secure manner
* Ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations and all internal data security policies

Essential Qualifications:
* Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Level 3 Coaching and Mentoring qualification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience:
* Proven experience supporting a caseload of learners towards successful qualification completion
* Experience in creating personalized learning and progression plans
* Coaching experience, helping learners overcome barriers and encouraging progress
* Familiarity with e-portfolio systems (BUD experience is a plus)
* Strong knowledge of the Apprenticeship sector, including EPA and safeguarding requirements
* Able to work as a team and strive for joint success
Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Word).
* Strong IT literacy and ability to use digital tools to enhance learning and feedback
