Responsible for: Working within the Disability (0-25) Team, delivering occupational services to children and young adults aged 0-25 in the community and within a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage and prioritise occupational therapy referrals and caseload.
* Effective delivery of occupational therapy intervention.
* Work in partnership with outside agencies.
* Work with the Team Manager to develop and improve the occupational therapy service.
Qualifications
* Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
* To be registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC)
* Fieldwork Education Qualification
* Post Graduate Qualification in Sensory Integration
Experience
* Two Years Post Registration Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist in either SSD or Health
* Multiagency partnership working
* Experience of working with children and young people within Health and/or SSD
* Experience of managing a budget
* Experience of supervising students
* Experience of working in the community and within service users' own homes
* Experience of working with more complex cases
* Experience of identifying individual outcomes to inform practice
