Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer
Location: Middlewich, Cheshire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 PLUS 30 Days Holiday rising with service, Vendor Certifications / Qualifications, Private Pension, Private Healthcare, Pool Cars / Vans
We are currently looking for a confident, technical Senior IT Support Engineer to join a market leading Managed Service Provider based in Middlewich, Cheshire.
As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems and infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional IT solutions tailored to meet clients' needs. You will also be an escalation point for more junior members of the team, whilst carrying out new and exciting projects!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high level technical support to clients, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
2. Proactively monitor and maintain clients' IT systems to minimize disruptions and downtime.
3. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement new projects and solutions.
4. Mentor junior members of the support team, sharing knowledge and best practices.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in IT support roles, preferably within the Managed Services Sector.
2. Expert knowledge of Windows server environments.
3. Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive)
4. Strong Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMWare etc.)
5. Networking (Switching, Routing, Firewall Protocols)
6. DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
7. Azure, Entra, Intune
