The ideal candidate will have experience providing both in-office and cloud-based IT support, ensuring seamless operations across all technology platforms. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams Phone System, is highly desirable. This role is critical to maintaining productivity, supporting end users, and ensuring the smooth running of IT systems across the organization.Key responsibilitiesProvide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues for onsite and remote employeesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other office IT equipmentAssist users with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDriveManage and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Teams Phone SystemAssist with the configuration and troubleshooting of Teams telephony, including call routing and device setupCollaborate with vendors or external support as needed for advanced Teams Phone System issues o Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, Wi-Fi configuration, and VPN supportSet up user accounts, hardware, and access to necessary tools for new employees o Decommission and secure IT equipment and accounts for departing staff in compliance with organizational policiesFollow security best practices to ensure the protection of corporate systems and dataPerform routine maintenance, updates, and patches for supported devices and systemsMaintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurationsCreate and update user guides and provide training to end users as neededKey skills & RequirementsDiploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in an IT support role, providing both hardware and software support, including experience with Intune MDM for managing and troubleshooting device complianceExperience with Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) for supporting and troubleshooting end-user compliance issuesProficiency with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams and Teams Phone System (experience configuring call routing and devices is an asset)Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networkingExperience with troubleshooting hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and peripheralsFamiliarity with Active Directory and Azure AD for user managementExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical usersSelf-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple tasks and prioritiesEagerness to learn new technologies and take initiative in solving complex challengesJob Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 12 monthsPay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per yearBenefits: Casual dress Company events Company pension On-site parking Work from homeSchedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekendsEducation: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)Experience: Technical support: 2 years (required)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 31/01/2025Reference ID: ITSUK
