Job overview
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner Team in MRU is at the forefront of SDEC; with this in mind, an opportunity has arisen for motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioners to become part of a highly skilled established team. The successful candidate will be based on the medical receiving unit with the requirement to work in the emergency portals or medical wards if needed.
You will need to have prescribing V300 and advanced clinical practice qualification, with recent x-ray interpretation experience.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team in the medical receiving unit.

Qualifications
* Registered nurse on NMC register
* Masters in Nursing or health/nursing related studies or evidence of continuing academic progression
* Independent prescriber
* ALS provider
* Evidence of recent IRMER
Experience
* Minimum 3 years post-registration including 1 year of management/leadership experience
* Experience in a leadership role
* Formal teaching to groups of staff
Skills & Knowledge
* ENB 998 or equivalent or experience of teaching clinical areas
* Formal leadership and management training
* Patient assessment
* Understanding of the modern NHS and UHNM strategy
* Certificate in MAPA training
* Able to use own initiative
* Ability to work as part of a team
