Step Into Teaching are looking for SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Swindon offering a full-time role starting ASAP for the remainder of the academic year.
The role is to support special educational needs students within a mainstream secondary school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain experience before becoming an educational psychologist/SENCO.
The Opportunity:
* SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers
* 1:1 & Small Group work
* Secondary school - Swindon
* Full-time role – Monday - Friday
* January Start - July 2025
* £450 - £490 per week - term time only
Key Responsibilities:
* Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need assistance in the classroom.
* Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team.
* Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and in small groups.
* Planning and resourcing intervention sessions.
* Working alongside other professionals to assess children.
* Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
