Family Worker/Therapist, Hammersmith & Fulham Early Intervention in Psychosis Service 0.8 WTE permanent post We have an exciting post available for a committed, skilled and enthusiastic Family Worker/Therapist in the Hammersmith & Fulham Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. The Family Worker/Therapist is fully integrated within the borough MDT team, and as previous post-holders have built excellent relationships and processes, family interventions are highly valued within the team. The Family Worker/Therapist will join the psychology service which consists of a Highly Specialist Counselling Psychologists, CBT therapist, and Trainee and Assistant Psychologists. There is considerable room for creativity and innovation in the development and provision of family and carers’ interventions. n the role of Family Worker/Therapist you will provide Cognitive-Behavioural Family Interventions for Psychosis to service users and their families/carers, and carers support to individuals and groups of carers. Skills and experience in working with clients with psychosis and Family Interventions are essential. We require a genuine commitment to MDT partnership working and psychological approaches to recovery. You will be based in Hammersmith. This role will include working with people from varied cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary; a passion for creating and enabling equality of access to services for all is vital.
