Qualified Plumber
Opportunity for a qualified Plumber to join a reputable and well established medium sized contractor based in Bedfordshire. They have a successful track record in delivering high quality construction projects across various sectors including commercial, education, industrial and leisure and have a strong reputation for excellence.
Due to an expansion in their workload they are currently recruiting for a Qualified Plumber to join to work
across the business on their framework and public service contract team across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.
The successful candidates must have experience in all types of projects and general refurbishment works,
be technically capable, commercially aware, highly motivated and willing to work within a close knit team.
They must also possess a full clean driving license and a current and relevant CSCS card.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with government and police organisations so will need to be DBS and police cleared to work for the company
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Plumbing qualification to at least Level 2
• Understanding of both domestic and commercial plumbing
• Gas Safe certified – Not Essential
• Ability to work with various pipe work – both feeds and waste ie copper, iron, electrofusion and other systems
• Ability to use freeze kits
• Experience of working with threaded iron and cast iron
• Full clean driving licence
• Basic hand/power tool kit
• Ability to work on their own or in a team
• Ability to self manage small jobs and tasks

Competitive market based salary dependent on experience
Standard hours of work are7.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
