Workday Systems Analyst – Finance
About Us:
We’re working with a global powerhouse of a company, who are looking for a proficient Workday Systems Analyst, specialising in the Finance module.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Workday Finance module, be adept at providing user support, handle remediation issues, plan month-end activities, and lead the prioritization of new work.
You’ll be joining a close knit and growing team, so it’s a great time to get on board! The company are at an exciting phase, having already implemented Workday.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workday Finance Expertise : Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Workday Finance module, ensuring all functionalities are effectively utilized.
2. User Support : Provide support to internal users, guiding them on how to use the Workday Finance module efficiently and resolving any queries.
3. Issue Remediation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and resolve remediation issues within the Workday Finance system.
4. Month-End Planning : Plan and execute month-end processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
5. Work Prioritization : Lead the prioritization of new work and enhancements within the Workday Finance module, balancing business needs with available resources.
Requirements:
6. Proven experience with Workday Finance.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain Workday concepts to those less familiar with the workings of the module.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
What background will you come from?
10. Either a background as a Workday financial Support/Systems Analyst, or one as an Accountant/Finance role with working knowledge of Workday Financials is highly desired!
