The Opportunity: We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Global Markets and Banking Practice. The successful candidate will work on transformation initiatives within leading financial institutions across northern Europe and the Middle East, focusing on regulatory compliance, process optimization and operating model enhancement.
Role Description: The Senior Consultant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives through detailed analysis, process documentation, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication skills to effectively translate business requirements into actionable solutions. The role holder will also be involved in supporting the development of Analysts and Junior Consultants, helping Proximos to build out its infrastructure and capabilities and participating in the business development process.
The successful candidate will hold most or all the following responsibilities:
* Analyze and document current state processes, identifying pain points or gaps in controls and defining solutions to improve or remediate processes
* Support the development of future state operating models and process designs
* Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions
* Create detailed business and functional specifications for process changes
* Assist in the preparation of project deliverables and status updates
* Support program governance and change management activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
* Support the managing partners in the development of infrastructure, capabilities and new business.
Previous Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or financial services
* Demonstrable experience in process mapping, requirements documentation and target operating models
* Understanding of financial services operations and regulatory environment
* Experience in stakeholder management across different organizational levels
* Track record of delivering within transformation programs
Role Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
* English (Fluent - required) – Meetings, communication, analysis, and documentation will be predominantly in English
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent documentation and presentation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Keen, hard-working, plenty of initiative and willing to learn new skills and techniques
