Both Day and Night shifts available Responsibilities of a Residential Children’s Learning Disabilities & Health Care Support Worker: · To care for and support children with a person-centred approach within their children’s home, and to enable the children you support to access the community. · To promote independence · Assistance with personal care may be required · Administration of medication once training, and a medication competency is complete · Assistance with food preparation · Assistance with moving and handling for those with limited abilities once training is complete · Participate in domestic and household tasks such as cooking and cleaning · Participate in accessing the community to complete activities · Getting to know your every child you support.
