Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. You must have a strong background in servicing and maintaining heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), buses, and ideally hybrid vehicles.
This role requires a combination of Mechanical understanding, technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional customer service.
As this is a field based role covering a large area, you will be home based with regular client site visits across the Oxfordshire, Home Counties and East Anglia regions.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on HGVs, buses, and hybrid vehicles
Diagnose vehicle issues and provide efficient solutions
Perform quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on service appointments and addressing any concerns
Keep accurate records of service and repair work
Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments to provide the best service
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology is preferred
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role, with a focus on HGVs, buses, and/or hybrid vehicles
