We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to lead a team of staff for our outreach service in Cannock which provides support for people with a learning disability and who may have other support needs.

As a Team Leader you will assist the Area Manager and the rest of the senior team, to ensure that the service is of the highest quality, meeting all CQC standards and contract requirements.
You will ensure that the service works in a cohesive and coordinated manner and that service users experience fully integrated care, support and housing.
You will ensure that the care and support delivered is personalized and provided in accordance with agreed care plans, enabling service users to enjoy wellbeing, quality of life and community connections.
You will promote and reinforce a culture of responsive, person-centred practice and active support across the service, with relationships based on respect and unconditional positive regard.
Your work will be a mixture of doing shifts on the rota and management days and you will be required to work across the entire week, including evenings and weekends.
We also value staff members and acknowledge good leadership is key to this, we are looking to appoint someone with the right skills and ability to join our team and help to continue this aim.
A minimum of two years managerial experience and prior experience of supporting people with a learning disability and a forensic history and/or autism who have complex needs is essential.
It is also essential to have strong values, emotional intelligence and good problem-solving skills.
It is essential that you have the ability to work collaboratively in order to achieve positive outcomes.
You will also have relevant experience in implementing Positive Behavioral Support and positive risk management approaches.
You must demonstrate excellent assessment, support planning and report writing skills.
