Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for building long-term, high-value partnerships? Our client, a leading specialist in training services and consultancy, is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join their team. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality training and consultancy services to both the private sector and local/central government, they are looking for a talented professional to support growth in their Central Government, Defence and Corporate divisions.
About the Role: As the Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth by developing significant partnerships rather than focusing on transactional business. You will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing annual contracts valued at £250,000+ within the Central Gov, Defence and Corporate sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the industry’s leading organisations, building relationships that deliver long-term value.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target industries to develop high-value partnerships
* Generate and secure annual contracts worth £250,000+
* Support the company’s growth objectives by driving business development within the Defence and Corporate sectors
* Manage the end-to-end sales process, from identifying the opportunity to contract negotiation and closing
* Work closely with the internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of training and consultancy services
* Contribute to the long-term strategic growth of the business
Requirements:
* Proven track record in account management, particularly in securing high-value contracts (£250,000+)
* Experience working within the Central Government, Defence, Corporate, or related sectors
* Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
* Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
* Willingness to work from the Worcester headquarters, with a hybrid model available after integration
