Pay: £12.90 - £14.00p/h

The role of a behaviour mentor would be to provide support and sustained change to students who need help to overcome their barriers to learning and attendance. It is important that you make the effort to understand the school’s ethos and values and to model this to the children to all aspects of school life, therefore being a good role model for the children. You will provide high expectations for behaviour and expect the children to make considerable progress with this. You will create and implement strategies for children to promote positive outcomes. You will provide ongoing support for the children and guide them in making them the right choices. Part of the role will be to develop a 1:1 mentoring relationship with the children receiving support and work closely with them in the aim to meet their behaviour targets.
The Primary provision is looking for energetic educators who have the stamina to inspire and motivate children to develop a love for learning. As the children who attend this school have complex social, emotional, mental health the staff ensure that they understand the children and how best to support them. The school offer the children an exciting curriculum in and outdoor.
