As our business grows, so too does the demand to keep our teams moving, and because of this we’re now looking to appoint a Fleet Administrator to support our Fleet Manager with day-to-day Fleet requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Fleet Administrator you will provide vital day to day support to our Fleet Manager and liaise with the wider business to ensure smooth running of our Fleet function.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Assist our Fleet Manager to manage the fleet of vehicles, including cars and vans, ensuring they are properly maintained, tracked, and serviced to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and service history.
Manage the procurement of vehicles, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring that vehicles are purchased within budget and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures, including safety policies and protocols.
Manage the fuel and maintenance budgets for the fleet and ensure that all expenses are within budget.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that vehicles are used efficiently and effectively.
Conduct regular audits of the fleet to ensure that all vehicles comply with regulations and policies.
Work with insurance providers to ensure that all vehicles are properly insured.
Manage the disposal of vehicles as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Some experience of working in a Fleet function (desirable)
A sound understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair (desirable).
Strong stakeholder engagement skills to build lasting relationships internally and externally.
A natural multi-tasker with the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Experience of administering a fleet management system.
Ability to travel across our different offices.
Highly organised and with an eye for detail.
Analytical by nature.
Be flexible and versatile in managing additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Previous experience working within an engineering field would be considered highly desirable.
A valid UK driving licence.
THE PACKAGE
A competitive starting salary of £28,000 with annual pay reviews.
