Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Daily Rate: £90 - £95 a day

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, focusing on their emotional and academic development.
2. Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and helping students manage their behaviour.
3. Implement behaviour management strategies that encourage positive behaviours and social interaction.
4. Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support students' individual needs.
5. Help students develop self-confidence, resilience, and the ability to engage positively with their learning environment.
6. Maintain records of student progress and participate in meetings to assess student well-being and development.
Requirements:
7. Experience working with children or young people, preferably with SEMH or special educational needs.
8. A calm, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong interest in supporting students' mental health and well-being.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
10. GCSEs in Maths and English (Minimum Level 2/C Grade).
11. Ability to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.
