What is the role?
To work as part of a team in the provision of family support services to vulnerable families and children in need.
The remit of this post will require working with vulnerable young people, throughcare and aftercare and youth justice services. The post holder will work in a busy and dynamic team undertaking programmed and individual work. You will work within a multi-agency setting with a range of relevant partners. Relevant training to the post will be provided.
The post holder will carry out these tasks within the framework of relevant legislation, Council Policy and procedures.

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 8 and the hourly rate is £19.19 to £20.91 and the annual salary is from £35, to £38,.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
