Job Title: Lead Clinician
You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment as a Lead Clinician, managing our in-house Clinical Team at Belmont Secondary School in the North West. This role involves clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload while working collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership team and the Locality Clinical Lead.
The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students who may present with complex profiles of need due to autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a therapy caseload with the support of our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growing Clinical Team
* Contribute to staff training and consultation
* Deliver wellbeing and clinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced, and specialist level
* Support the integration of the specific service in the day-to-day running of each provision
Requirements:
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy, or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
