We are seeking to appoint a one to one teaching assistant in our Reception class to support one of our children as follows: Support an individual child, sometimes within small groups, making the adjustments on a day to day basis to ensure access to a differentiated and highly personalised curriculum Be proactive and flexible in supporting the child’s needs Working closely with the SENCO to deliver a personalised programme of support to meet targets To support and maintain positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome To work collaboratively with external agencies to draw upon skills, knowledge and recommendations to help support the child To support the child’s personal care and needs, including communication by following the Education Health Care Plan, and undergoing any relevant training The successful applicant will be required to work to meet the requirements set out in the pupils Education Health Care Plan. The successful candidate will:.
