This role will require you to support our admin manager and deputy admin manager by overseeing and coordinating the workflow of our band 2 admin assistants. You will be required to work as a coordinator and also undertake booking for our more complex endoscopy procedures. You will be required to have previous experience of working in a busy office environment with understanding of waiting lists and referral to treatment targets. You will work collaboratively with admin colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard service and patient experience. Main duties of the job To ensure that all endoscopy referral forms received are recorded onto the Patient Administration System within 24 hours. Arrange appointment dates with the patient in person, by telephone or by letter within specified timeframes. To be accountable for ensuring that the patients 18 week RTT are maintained and that all diagnostic timescales are met, including 2 week wait pathways.
