About The Role
As Talent and Performance Business Partner, you will work with senior leaders and key stakeholders to build the people capability required by the business strategy of the specific divisions or functions they support. You will focus on identifying the business talent needs, shaping and implementing talent management, learning & development and performance initiatives to deliver on these business objectives in line with the group Talent and Performance strategies (as part of the People Strategy).
You will work as part of the HR Business Partner teams, collaborating closely with HR Projects Managers and the Talent and Performance CoEs, with the aim to support and improve business talent capability ensuring that business strategy is supported by relevant T&P plans in line with global standards, processes and policies.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis in our London office on a hybrid working model. It is a 12-month maternity cover contract to start in May 2025.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on talent related topics including talent management, development and succession planning, engagement, career pathing, learning and skills development, etc.
2. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with specific client groups and build a deep understanding of the business needs and challenges.
3. Design and coordinate global talent & performance projects to improve business performance, ensuring effective implementation of conceptual and operational solutions.
4. Manage the divisional budget and use data-driven approach and appropriate analytics to make decisions on topics within the division.
5. Drive the T&P aspects of transformation and change processes ensuring effective collaboration and communication across the matrix.
6. Lead the rollout of job families and career pathing in the division in line with the global approach.
7. Review and optimise talent management processes to ensure we are able to effectively identify, develop and retain critical talent across the division.
8. Promote and leverage global T&P strategies guidelines, policies, procedures, systems and tools within the division.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
1. Solid experience in a Talent, Learning & Performance role within a global HR team is needed, working in a complex matrix organisation and across a multicultural environment.
2. Proven track record of designing and delivering training & workshops globally with a good working knowledge of instructional design.
3. Experience of influencing senior stakeholders.
4. Ability to think about talent management strategically as well as translating this into tangible actions.
5. Strong relationship building and influencing skills are essential, with ability to support and challenge people in senior roles.
6. Excellent negotiating and presentation skills - both verbal and written.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data, metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making.
8. Resilient and proactive approach, with the ability to work in a complex fast-paced and changing environment.
Desirable
1. Demonstrable awareness of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion would be beneficial.
2. Additional languages besides proficiency in English are desirable (i.e. preferably German or Spanish).
