We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at HMP Whatton, a category C Prison located in Nottingham. The site supports around 130 patients, the majority of whom are elderly and require support with long-term conditions, complex needs, and palliative care. This role would suit a compassionate GP who enjoys working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

This is a part-time role working 24 hours/6 sessions per week. You will receive an annual salary of up to £125,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (6 sessions total). We may also have the opportunity to deliver 1 session on a Friday morning.

Main Duties of the Job

Qualifications Required
* MBChB or MBBS
* Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
* Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
* Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
* RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications
