Seeking a Senior Planner to join the team, working on large-scale Commercial and Life Science projects in the Cambridge area and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using ASTA Powerproject, ensuring they align with project timelines and objectives.
* Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate planning and timely delivery of large-scale Commercial and Life Science projects.
* Monitor and update project progress, identifying any delays and providing recommendations for corrective actions.
* Assist in risk management and provide mitigation strategies to avoid project disruptions.
* Produce regular progress reports for stakeholders and senior management, highlighting any key issues and actions.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process improvements.
* Support the senior project planners and management in project planning and development, with potential for career progression.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Project Planner within the construction industry, preferably with large-scale Commercial and Life Science projects.
* Proficiency in ASTA Powerproject and other planning software.
* JCT & NEC Form of Contract.
* Strong understanding of programme management, risk management, and progress tracking.
* Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring project timelines are met.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
