Join Atlas Copco as a Service Area Sales Manager where you will develop service contract and tool repair business through effective customer account management whilst achieving profitable net income sales and driving service excellence. As part of the Service Team, you will report to the Service Sales Manager.
Your role:
1. Achieve and exceed the net income sales targets.
2. Deliver Service Sales growth within allocated customers and geographical areas.
3. Work in collaboration with all sales and operational teams to drive continued business growth.
4. Take responsibility for ‘Key Account Management” to agreed customer accounts.
5. Increase and develop Customer Satisfaction through strong customer and account management.
6. Deliver Service Product and Sales campaigns in conjunction with the Service Sales Manager and Business Line Manager within set time scales.
7. Work with distribution partners to maximize the development of Service Sales opportunities.
8. Use and update our sales and business platforms with all sales and other activities.
9. Work as part of the Service Sales team responsible for the Strategic development of the GB Service offering.
10. Prepare and deliver professional customer quotations in a timely manner.
11. Produce management information required to report business activity on a monthly basis.
12. You will be remote with a dedicated territory. UK-wide travel will be required.
13. Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.
To succeed, you’ll need:
1. Proven track record in Sales within engineering/manufacturing.
2. You make decisions in tough situations, consider risks and take responsibility for the decisions taken.
3. Be self-starting, able to identify gaps and opportunities and work towards them.
4. To be a good communicator with our customers and colleagues, we are looking for a valuable team player.
5. You will be based in Midlands. In this role, you will cover the whole UK & Ireland.
