Senior Technical Sales Specialist - South
Manpower is delighted to support a rapidly expanding and highly successful UK-based Biomedical organisation that specializes in mass photometry, with the appointment of a Senior Technical Sales Specialist based in the South of the UK.
The Senior Technical Sales Specialist is focused on driving new business and expanding the reach of technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Selling and promoting products and solutions across customer groups in Academia and Industry, building strong networks across both customer segments.
2. Meeting or exceeding the sales target assigned by the Regional Sales Director.
3. Creating and driving new business opportunities through the sales funnel with timely lead nurturing.
4. Accurate opportunity forecasting.
5. Identifying new prospects and establishing business relationships with new potential customers.
6. Assessing and analysing customer needs, responding to customer enquiries, and suggesting products and services as appropriate.
7. Understanding customer applications, workflows, and pain points/bottlenecks and determining if/where our technology fits.

Essential
1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role working with analytical CAPEX equipment, specifically within the life sciences sector in the UK.
2. Undergraduate Degree in a Molecular Biology Science, or similar relevant field.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills required.
4. Experience communicating with different audiences and cross-functional teams (e.g. customers, Sales Operations, R&D, Product Management, Applications, Service & Support).
5. Right to work in relevant country required as standard for all roles.
6. Full driving licence.
7. Valid passport.
8. Ability to travel: Moderate to high within and out of the assigned territory (50% or more).
9. Ideal location: Oxford, Cambridge, London.
