Role Overview The Engineering Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the engineering department. The role involves coordinating engineering projects, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities As the Engineering Administrator, you will carry out the following: • Administrative Support • Project Coordination • Document Control • Health & Safety Compliance • Procurement and Inventory Management: • Meeting Coordination • Data Management and Reporting • Team Support Skills and Experience • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines. • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing documents, data, and records. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders. • IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management software. • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team and support colleagues across different functions. • Education: A-levels or equivalent; a qualification in engineering administration or a related field is advantageous. • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an engineering or technical environment. • Knowledge: Familiarity with engineering terminology, project management processes, and health and safety regulations is desirable.
