We are proud to partner with a leading global manufacturer of advanced technology and engineering systems to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. This role is dedicated to supporting Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives at their flagship site in Denham.
Working closely with the Site HSE Lead, the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will become an integral part of the company's foundation, playing a pivotal role in driving its ongoing success within their manufacturing department.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing regular auditing across safety, health and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses.
* Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and relevant enforcement agencies.
* Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the site, supporting staff at all levels with practical advice.
* Helping to manage and deliver on the Health, Safety & Environment plan and objectives for the site.
* Supporting with the induction and training across the site, liaising with external contractors as required.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing, chemicals or industrial environment.
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (minimum) and membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body.
* Process Safety awareness.
* A strong technical knowledge across relevant health, safety and environment legislation.
