Job description
My client is seeking a senior and experienced payroll candidate due to the requirement to quickly take responsibility for business as usual activities and input into our Pay & Grading project and Gender Pay Reporting.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for collating and processing payroll information from senior managers and supervisors for employees, £16m payroll budget.
We would like candidates to do:
1. Monthly payroll processing for group companies
2. Provide significant support to the implementation of a new pay and gradingstructure
3. Main contact for payroll-related queries from managers and all employees
4. Manage employee benefits, including pension administration and salary sacrifice schemes
5. Responsible for the calculation and analysis of gender pay gap
6. Monitor, review and process monthly staff expenses process
We would like candidates to have:
Qualifications
7. HNC or equivalent
Background
8. Candidates with experience of finance department operations
9. Experience with major payroll projects desirable
10. Charity or public sector experience preferable but not essential
Skills and experience
11. Experience of managing payroll in a medium sized or large organisation
12. Competent with MS Excel
13. Ability to generate and maintain strong working relationships with range ofcolleagues across organisation
14. Familiarity with Cascade or similar would be highly beneficial
