The successful candidate will work as part of the Facilities Team whose role focuses on ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and clean environment is sustained throughout the whole site. You must be dependable and trustworthy, comfortable working independently as well as being part of a larger team. Whilst prior cleaning experience is not essential, it would be desirable.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: General
* Working as part of the Site team, carry out daily cleaning and ad-hoc duties.
* Clean all surfaces, fixtures and fittings, floors, walls, and internal woodwork in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
* Clean toilets, changing rooms, and other sanitary areas.
* Undertake special cleaning programmes during school closure or other designated periods in compliance with the specification for the premises.
* Collect and dispose of waste in an appropriate manner.
* Refill and replace consumables.
* Maintain and arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies.

Our New Options School - Ryecroft School will have capacity for 60 pupils and is due to open in September 2024. Our New Options School will cater for pupils with Autism and complex needs.
The school is located in Walsall, a market town in the West Midlands County. It is located 9 miles north-west of Birmingham, 7 miles east of Wolverhampton, and 9 miles from Lichfield.
