The Sports Lecturer will be based on site in Weybridge and will be required to deliver high quality vocational programmes from
Level 1 Sport & Active Leisure, L2 Sport course and L3 licensed to practice National Diploma in Sport, Fitness and Personal
Training. In this standalone role, you will be supported by the public services team, to deliver on Level 1, but will have the
opportunity to sculpt and build out the department and it's offerings as the development of the campus moves forward.
About the role:
As Sports Lecturer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to deliver these vocational programmes. Your role will include:
* Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
* Assess, review and record learner progress
* Maintain course and learner records
* To embed employment skills in to the curriculum courses
To fulfil the role of Sports Lecturer you will have:
* Relevant professional qualifications at level 4 or above
* Teaching Qualification & experience teaching in FE a distinct advantage
* Level 3 Assessor & verifier award or willingness to work towards it
* Level 2 gym instructor or equivalent qualification
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and be skilled in the use of IT
