We are based in a purpose built surgery in beautiful West Berkshire on the outskirts of Reading. Theale has good links to London, Oxford and the south coast and excellent schools locally.
We are a friendly, forwardthinking, well organised training and dispensing practice with a practicepopulation of nearly 11,500 in a pleasant semi-rural location.
We are keen to support GPcareer development and would encourage you to establish and build on anyspecial interest areas.
Main duties of the job
1. Patient consultations over the phone and within the surgery.
2. Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing.
3. Perform clinical examinations.
4. Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses/ailments.
5. Conduct tests to diagnose (eg urine sample testing)
6. Health education.
7. Liaise with other healthcare professionals from multi disiplinary teams.

Provide skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patients
Order diagnostic tests as needed, checking and informing patients of results as per clinics procedure.
Refer patients appropriately to other providers if their needs exceed the range of care you are able to provide.
Consult and collaborate with colleagues to provide optimal care.
Document all care provided and education/information given to patients within their health record, as per clinics procedure.
To maintain good medical practice:
