The EMEESY children's kidney network at Nottingham Children's Hospital is looking for an experienced paediatric nephrology nurse to join the team.
You will be a clinical and professional role model with a passion for the delivery of high quality clinical care and the support and development of others. The successful candidate will lead, manage and develop the paediatric renal home therapies service. The service consists of a small team who care for children on home peritoneal dialysis, IV infusion and other treatments delivered in the community. There will also be joint working with the home haemodialysis nurse specialist.
To lead, manage, develop and deliver a high-quality Children and Young Peoples Home Therapy service, including peritoneal dialysis, haemodialysis and nephrology related treatments. Act as a clinical expert within the field of paediatric nephrology and a professional resource to the multidisciplinary team in the acute and community setting and throughout the EMEESY Network. Also act as an advocate on behalf of the child and family.

Lead and manage the renal home therapies service. Manage the band 6 nurse specialists. Provide cover in the absence of the lead nurse.
Manage a caseload of patients
Participate in the paediatric renal nurse on call service
Provide expert practice and specialist advice in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
