An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team covering the Anglesey area. The role is working within the Community Mental Health Team alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues. You will be working under the clinical and operational management of an Occupational Therapy Team Lead and be part of a wider Occupational Therapy Adult Mental Health Team in the West area. The post holder will be required to complete assessments, interventions and rehabilitation programmes to aid recovery and maintain skills. You will need knowledge of a range of rehabilitation interventions, alongside understanding a diverse range of conditions and current issues that affect a person's mental health and occupational therapy services.

Main duties of the job
As an autonomous practitioner you will:
1. Provide a flexible and comprehensive service to the community area you are responsible for.
2. Confidently carry out comprehensive and professional interventions for patients with complex needs incorporating physical, personal and psychological needs in relation to self-care, leisure and productivity.
3. Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
4. Provide supervision and development of support workers and students within your team.
5. Maintain links with the immediate team as well as the wider team alongside external agencies to maintain and develop the trust Occupational Therapy service.
6. Have the ability to use computer systems in order to update clinical information necessary for the job role including data collection and audits.
7. Maintain and update own knowledge as required by the HCPC - active encouragement is promoted to seek internal and external training and development opportunities.
8. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
