We are seeking a skilled and experienced counsellor to join our team at The Counselling Foundation. As a self-employed counsellor, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who have experienced common mental health problems and provide effective time-limited counselling.
The role involves assessing clients for suitability for counselling and delivering support while working closely with the wider team and partner organisations. You will primarily work with clients using PCE-Counselling for Depression or Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy and may also be asked to work with our subsidised service and with clients on other contracts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a qualification in the NHS/IAPT compliant modality Counselling for Depression (CfD) and be registered with BACP/UKCP. A minimum of 320 client hours, including agency work, is also required.
A competitive hourly rate of £30 per client session worked will be paid, and access to subsidised TCF CPD events is available. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a charitable organisation that values diversity and innovation.
