Our team is led by practice owner and veterinary surgeon, Julie, and is made up of 6 Vets, 6 Nurses (including 2 SVNs), a Practice Manager and 1 VCA and a team of 6 reception staff. We have a wealth of experience in our vet team and have one team member doing a dental certificate. Since opening in 2017 and we have grown into a thriving practice with a loyal client base resulting in a wide variety of cases coming through to us
This is either a full-time or part time role on a Fixed term contract for 1 year, with the possibility of extending. The role includes 1 in 3 weekends and no OOH. You will need to be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all-round skills. Your role will involve a good mix of consults, inpatient care and theatre work and our nurses also carry out schedule 3 procedures allowing you to enhance your clinical skills.
We are a nurse training practice and would love to find a team member willing to share their skills and experience with students. By joining us you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing superb standards of animal care in a friendly team.
Hamilton Vets4Pets is located on the outskirts of the town on Hamilton Palace Retail Park, just off the M74, making it well situated for anyone wishing to commute from other locations. Hamilton itself is under 30 minutes from Glasgow City Centre and under an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
