Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking an Independent Member to join our Audit and Standards Committee - a pivotal team that ensures transparency, accountability, and high standards across the council.

What You’ll Do
1. Assist in overseeing internal and external audit arrangements.
2. Assess governance, risk management, and control systems.
3. Provide independent assurance to Council members, residents, and stakeholders.
4. Attend four or five in-person committee meetings per year (with occasional training and events).
