ABC Teachers are recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to support an SEN child on a 1 to 1 basis in a primary school based in the Burton Upon Trent area. This role is to commence as soon as possible.
The role
This role includes the following:
* Working on a full-time basis between 08:30-15:30.
* Working on a 1 to 1 basis with an SEN child based in the Key Stage 2 age range.
* This will be long term cover starting from September 2024 and continue up until the Christmas break, this may have a potential to be extended.

Requirements
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:
* Have had prior experience working with a child with special educational needs.
* Have a drive to provide the best possible service to the children in their care.
* Be adaptable to different environments and situations.
* Teaching assistant qualifications are not compulsory with the right experience.
* Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
* Be able to gain relevant references from most recent and relevant roles.
