At Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, your work has the power to transform lives. Every day, our therapy team plays a crucial role in helping individuals recover from a brain injury or other neurological condition, empowering them to reclaim their independence and pursue their passions. Take the story of Kaylie, a young woman whose life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with encephalitis. Thanks to the creativity and dedication of her Occupational Therapist, she embarked on a Disney-themed therapy journey that turned her rehabilitation into an inspiring and joyful experience. This approach not only helped her regain essential life skills but also brought hope and fun back into her life. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact like this, using your skills to design innovative, patient-centred therapy plans that create meaningful change. If you’re a caring, helpful, and brilliant therapist looking to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you! What you'll be working: Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible. What you'll be doing: Deliver personalised therapy plans to help patients regain essential life skills, mobility, and confidence. Use creativity and innovation, much like Kaylie’s therapist, to turn therapy into an engaging and impactful experience for each patient. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic, patient-centred care. Build strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported throughout their recovery journey. Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights.
