Our company is looking for a trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team based in our head office in Brentwood, Essex.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with accounts payable tasks
2. Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
3. Reconcile financial statements and resolve any discrepancies
4. Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
5. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
7. Provide support for audits and financial reviews
8. Be responsible for filing and archiving procedures
Skills:
1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
2. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with an interest in finance and accounting to join our team. Full training will be provided.
Due to office location, you will need to hold a driving licence and have your own means of transport.
