Responsible for the end to end marketing to drive Tesco Reputation through multi-channel effective and engaging campaigns.
As Lead Marketing Manager, you’ll be part of the team that creates and communicates reasons for our 40 million + customers across the globe to choose more of Tesco more often, with a focus on Health and Sustainability.
You’ll sit right at the heart of the business, bringing to life our purpose to serve our customers, communities, and the planet better every day, helping our customers to shop, eat and live more healthily and sustainably.
You’ll steer cross-functional teams to develop long and short-term customer propositions that you’ll then communicate via multi-channel campaigns, building our reputation as a responsible and helpful retailer while delivering meaningful behavioural change.
You will be responsible for
* Leading a team (Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant) to build and deliver plans for health, sustainability and key category priorities that are helpful to customers, distinctly Tesco and drive business growth.
* Team development, coaching and day to day management of the Marketing Manager.
* Crafting informative strategies to clarify the business opportunity, desired behavioural changes and concept on how to bring an event to life across our channels and customer touch-points.
* Analysing customer and financial insight, to keep up with the latest data and make bold recommendations about where Tesco should prioritise investment for customers.
* Using your influencing skills and flair for storytelling to present and energise the business, influencing a diverse range of stakeholders at different levels of the business and presenting confidently at senior governance forums.
* Building positive relationships across the business, bringing together a cross-functional team working collaboratively to align and deliver the plan.
* Inspiring our external agencies and partners around our key priorities, delivering compelling briefs and collaboratively shaping effective campaign approaches.
* Working closely with the Media Planning team to create integrated campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, and influencing Channel teams to create integrated comms.
* Forecasting, managing and tracking of budgets, always looking for ways to optimise and be as efficient and effective as possible with every £.
* Working closely with the insight team to set objectives, track performance and optimise the marketing mix.
* Ensure understanding across Customer of the Tesco Responsible Marketing Comms policy, equipping teams with the knowledge and skills to drive compliance.
