Who You Are We are seeking experienced, committed, and highly motivated Youth Justice Officers with at least two years of experience in the Youth Justice System. The candidates should possess a high level of skill and knowledge and have a proven track record of working effectively with children and young people, understanding of safeguarding practices, and risk management. The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate good analytical skills for conducting high-quality assessments using Assetplus and will have a comprehensive understanding of risk and risk management. Candidates must be flexible to work occasional weekends or unsocial hours and embrace a hybrid working environment. What the Job Involves The role involves working as part of the Youth Justice Service, focusing on safeguarding young people and managing community risk. Key duties include writing PSR, Referral Order, and Breach reports, carrying out high-quality assessments using Assetplus, making referrals, and delivering interventions to reduce further offending. The position demands strong partnership working skills and involves monitoring practice and processes.
